6 Week Improv Course

Join in the endless possibilities of improv and ensemble work! This class is ideal for people interested in seeking new skills learned through improv, and anyone that wants to find creativity through laughter and play. Classes will be on Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 8:30pm - Starting October 26th at 3's Comedy Club in Downtown Colorado Springs. Last class will be December 7th (we'll skip a Tuesday during week of Thanksgiving). The six weeks will be used to Learn the Basics,  Practice the skills, and Perform. Payments are required before the beginning of your first class. A final email will always be sent the Monday prior to the first class confirming all attendees. We'll focus on stage presence, making bold choices, and finding the game in completely made up scenes. Join us! 

I have studied, performed, and taught improv comedy for more than 15 years in Georgia, Hong Kong, Chicago, and Colorado. Most of my experience resides in Chicago where Long Form Improv was born. I am looking to find and encourage talent and Long Formm Improv here in Colorado Springs. I focus on character building, fast paced shows, and building confidence thru performing.

Your six week course ends with a live graduation show for the public. Classes and final performance will be on 3E’s main stage. You'll have a goal to work towards and teammates to help you along the way. Students always have the opportunity to retake the class, so you will be surrounded by teamwork, togetherness, and enthusiasm.
